  • Department of Electronics &Communication Engineering in association with Electrical & Electronics Engineering organised Basic Robotic workshop For Canara CBSE - The main Aim of Basic robotics workshop was to give brief idea about robot design for high school students using Bi- Box. Students were given brief idea about how to install bi-Box . Students deigned simple robots on the first. Second day brief idea given to blink LED's and to control the bot using Remote.34 students from CANARA CBSE took part in this event. This event was conducted on 11th & 13th Jan 2016.   • Department of Electronics &Communication Engineering in association with Electrical & Electronics Engineering organised Guest Lecture on “What is Excellent Electrical Engineering Sciences and Technology? By Dr. Ashok Rao, CEDT, IISC, Bangalore This talk was for all students and faculty of Electrical sciences (EEE, E & C, CS-IS, etc) . This talk gave brief idea about what we really mean by Excellence in EE Sciences and How all we can focus and (hopefully) achieve excellent results and Teaching-Learning. It also deals with Entrepreneurial aspects of EE sciences which today is one of the largest employer and job creator in the world.
  • Department of Electronics &Communication Engineering in association with Electrical & Electronics Engineering organised Technical Talk on “Optical Communications" by Dr. T Srinivas, Assoc. Professor, IISC, Bangalore The resource person spoke about the recent trends from the historic 800 nm Mono Mode to 1300nm Multimode technology. The students and faculty were briefed about the structure of Long haul Broadband network in Metropolitan Area/ region Networks, the last mile problem and the digital cross connects and the DWDM.This event was conducted on 14.08.2015

  • Three Days FDP was conducted between 12-01-2015 and 14-01-2015. on,
           "CADENCE OrCAD PSPICE/PCB DESIGN The Analysis and Design of Electronic Circuits and Systems".

Over 40 participants were participated in this event from nearby institutions. The work shop was conducted by Entuple Technologies Pvt. Ltd Bangalore. In the work shop, the key problems were well addressed and resource persons gave a better insight on the basic circuits design and simulation and complete product flow. 
   The workshop was concluded with a positive edge by deciding to conduct 2nd version of the workshop.
